An injury time penalty miss meant that Dagenham were beaten 2-1 at Wycombe on Saturday.

Simon Church, on loan with Wycombe, was sent off for a wild challenge midway through the first half but this didn’t stop the 10-men hosts from taking the lead before the break when Mike
Williamson (34) headed home.

Ben Strevens (58) levelled before the hour but another header from Williamson (68) shortly after saw Wycombe ahead once again. Strevens had the chance to salvage a point for the guests but he dragged his penalty wide at the death.
