Dagenham & Redbridge striker Zavon Hines has been named the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month for November.

Hines scored three times during the month, including the opener in the 2-0 win against Burton Albion.

The 24-year-old also scored a stunning solo goal in the away defeat to Hartlepool United as well as finding the net against Plymouth Argyle in a 2-1 away loss.

Dagenham & Redbridge manager Wayne Burnett said: “I’m absolutely delighted for Zavon, he’s come here and he really has set the place alight at times.

“The thing that has impressed me most is his incredible work rate, he’s got a really hunger and desire. He works incredibly had and has a real love for the game.

“He’s done very well this month with some goals and assists and deservedly so is getting the plaudits as he’s worked incredibly hard for it.”

Sky Sports’ Football League pundit Don Goodman said: “The former West Ham youngster has been in fine form in November for a Dagenham & Redbridge side pushing for a promotion place.

“He has added goals to his tricky wing play and looks to have settled in to regular football after a difficult few seasons.

Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins said: “Hines has been in good scoring form for the Daggers during November.

“His penalty that opened the scoring against fellow promotion hopefuls Burton Albion proved decisive.

“Hines is certainly enjoying his football back in the London area following his transfer from Bradford City.”

The Player of the Month judging panel comprises Sky Sports Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Head of Communications John Nagle; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Head of Football Paul Wiggins.
