Midfielder Medy Elito has said that ahead of the game against Burton Albion, Dagenham and Redbridge need to show a lot of improvement following our game against Hartlepool last time out.

Namely, we have to create far more and much better chances over the course of 90 minutes.

Speaking to the Official Sitea head of the game this weekend, Elito said we needed to improve in all areas of the pitch, not just defensively.

‘We need to go forward more and create some more chances. Burton is going to be a tough game, but I think we will be alright.’

On a personal level Elito says he’s pleased that he’s starting more games so far this campaign, but he still wants to work on and improve his consistency game to game, as if he can do that he can really repay the faith that manager Wayne Burnett has shown in him this season.

He goes on to say that Lawson D’Ath has proved to be a very good addition to the squad, and helled well and quickly and he does give us something else on the pitch, so during the remainder of the season as he finds his feet even more, it should be of real benefit to us.

He also talks about how he has gelled with Zavon Hines this season and he feels that has reaped rewards as well for us, but again the watch word is improvement across the board and he feels they can both do better themselves also.
