Dagenham and Redbridge were comprehensively beaten in our last pre season game against Conference South side Ebbsfleet last Saturday.

It would’ve been a very disappointing spectacle for the manager Wayne Burnett as it was a strong squad, and he again gave a run out to Jamie Cureton amongst other trialists.

Ebbsfleet took the lead after only eleven minutes, and before the end of the half we were two nil down following a foul by Joss Labadie resulting in a penalty. In the second half they added a further two goals and that was that.

Dagenham didn’t test the opposite goalkeeper once during the 90 minutes, with the only chances we created being either blocked by the defence or hit off target.

I’m not sure anybody wants to know more, but the official site carries more details now.

Mark Cousins (Liam O`Brien 58), Matt Partridge (Yado Mambo 58), Jack Connors (Nathan Green 58), Brian Saah (Scott Doe 58), Ian Gayle (Nabil Guedioura 73), Billy Bingham (Frankie Raymond 58), Luke Howell (Bradley Goldberg 58), Joss Labadie (Abu Ogogo 55), Jamie Cureton (Gozie Ugwu 55), Ashley Chambers (David Fitzpatrick 58), George Porter (Alan Connell 58).
