Manager Wayne Burnett has moved to add Lawson D’Ath to our ranks whilst we still await the full extent of the injury to Billy Bingham.

The 20 year old midfielder joins us from Reading and his loan will expire on December 29th.

The player has worked his way through their Academy and made his first team debut in their FA Cup game against Stevenage last January as he appeared as a substitute.

He has previously been out on loan to Yeovil Town where he scored once in twelve appearances, and then spent a spell with Cheltenham Town where he made three appearances all in, scoring once. He has since been out to Exeter as well last season, making a further eight appearances and again scoring once.

The player has joined us needed a late fitness test ahead of game this weekend as he picked up a slight ankle knock in the recent U21 game, but it’s certainly something that won’t keep him out for longer than this weekend.
