22 year old Liam O’Brien has signed for Dagenham and Redbridge on a two year deal today.

The keeper joins us as a free transfer after being released by Brentford at the end of last season.

He began his career at Portsmouth back in 2009, and plied his trade at that point in the Premiership under former England goalie David James. during his Portsmouth stay he also had a loan out with Eastbourne.

The 6ft 4in keeper then moved on to Barnet in January 2011 after impressing whilst training with them, and made his Football League debut in their 3-1 victory over Bradford City.

In total he made 23 appearances for them, and also had another spell out on loan, this time at Hastings. Following their relegation to the Skrill Premier League, he was released back in May 2013 and quickly signed for Brentford.
