Wayne Burnett has said it’s getting harder to pluck talent from non league football and he’s working hard to improve our scouting network so we can more easily find some gems.

Speaking to London24 our gaffer said he was in discussions with some new scouts to add to the lists and reports of players the club already have.

‘It’s about finding the right people for us from those contacts I have had over the years. It’s getting very difficult to find the players in non league. Other clubs are adopting the same process.’

Burnett also confirmed in the interview that he sees us being based at our May and Baker training ground next season despite using the Spurs Lodge facility often last season.
