Manager Wayne Burnett has said it’s time that Dagenham and Redbridge got back on the ball and found some winning consistency when we face off against Burton Albion later today.

Admitting that our home form has a big part to play in where we find ourselves in the table, Burnett said it’s been long enough when it comes to our away form and it’s about time we got that sorted as well.

‘Our home form has not been so good in recent times, but we got the win at Rochdale (away) which no one expected. That show you what we can do on the road and hopefully that can be the start of a good run for us. Maybe it’s time for us to start picking up the points away from home.’

Burnett goes on to say that nobody at the club are under any illusions when it comes to how tough the game against Burton will be, and he feels opposite number Gary Rowett is doing a ‘terrific’ job with them and he feels they will finish in the top seven again which is great consistency as they continue to grow as a Football League club, so we won’t be reading too much into our home win, as that was difficult enough, but this time round they have home advantage.

In terms of injury news when speaking to the press, the only concern was Luke Howell who remains on the sidelines following the injury he sustained in our draw against Scunthorpe United.

Otherwise, Burnett has a full squad to choose from for the game later today.
