Wayne Burnett has said he is happy with the goal threat that Dagenham pose teams, but he knows we need to be more consistent and clinical to make the most of it.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, the gaffer explained.

‘If you look at the players we have now we have some very creative players and some very good finishers. We created some great chances in the second half. If we are going to be successful this season you need to be strong at home, and I’m disappointed to only pick up a point, but feel it’s all the performance warranted.’

He knows there is plenty we can learn from our last game, adding.

‘We need to start better and be consistent for longer, because on our day we can beat anyone. Zavon had an impact, he showed glimpses of what he can do.’

Saying that as of yet he’s not 100% fit, so he will make a good difference when he is.
